Horizontal Transport System

Hi all! This is my first post on this blog. I have enjoyed experimenting with legos and robotics all my life, so I decided to finally start sharing what I make with you all!

My first featured invention is the horizontal transporter. This invention utilizes a taut string strung across a straight line in order to travel from place to place. The main fixture is moved by a wheel system driven by two synced motors, which both power the wheels at the top. The robot is moved down the string using a remote control. The claw at the base is used to hold a bin or bucket (as shown in the video) which can be used for cargo, able to support more than 5 pounds.

Thanks and I'll be back soon with more!

Also, comment if you would like me to send you the instructions for the build!
